Description:

FakeAlert-WwSec will silently install and run a virus scan on the system. It will falsely claim that it found viruses and will require the user to register the product to clean the system. Solution:

Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP). Update the virus definitions of your antivirus product. Run a full system scan. Delete any values added to the registry.
